Kjetil Hestdal, President and CEO
Kjetil Hestdal, MD, Ph.D., born 1960, has served as President and CEO since January 2005. Dr. Hestdal held the position as Vice President Research and Development from January 1997 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in October 2004. Before joining Photocure, Dr Hestdal served as the Project Manager/Medical Expert at Sandoz (now Novartis) and as Senior Scientist at Rikshospitalet. Dr Hestdal holds a Ph.D. in immunology.
Dr Kjetil Hestdal holds directly or indirectly 62,873 shares in Photocure. In addition he holds 109,000 share options in the company.

Torbjørn Øye, Interim Chief Financial Officer
Torbjørn Øye has been engaged as interim Chief Financial Officer to support the Company until a permanent appointment has been made.
Torbjørn Øye has a long and successful track record in finance. He comes from Uniconsult AS and has a wide range of experience working in different functions within financial and accounting departments in large, medium and small sized, listed and unlisted companies. He holds a MBA from Norwegian School of Economics.

Kathleen Deardorff, Chief Operating Officer
Kathleen Deardorff, born 1959, joined the Company in May 2011. She graduated from Purdue University School of Pharmacy, USA with her Pharm.D. Kathleen has held senior leadership positions in strategic marketing, operational marketing and business development, crossing multiple geographies at Bristol-Myers Squibb and GE Healthcare. Her most recent position was Head of Global Marketing at GEHC, encompassing strategy development and global execution for both marketed and pipeline products for medical diagnostics portfolio.
Kathleen Deardorff holds no shares in Photocure. She holds 75,000 share options in the Company.

Grete Hogstad, Vice President Strategic Marketing
Grete Hogstad, born 1956, joined Photocure in February 2005. She has a degree in pharmacy from the University of Oslo, as well as a business degree from the Norwegian School of Management. She has held various leading positions in Marketing and Sales in Alpharma and Novo Nordisk Pharma, and is a founding member of the Generics Association in Norway. Mrs. Hogstad comes from the position as Director Sales and Marketing for Norway, Sweden and Finland in Alpharma.
Grete Hogstad holds 8,000 shares in Photocure. She holds 59,000 share options in the company.

Inger Ferner Heglund, Vice President Research and Development
Inger Ferner Heglund, born 1955, joined Photocure in 2006 as Director, Business Relations and was appointed Vice President Research and Develeopment from January 2007. She has a degree in physiology from the University of Oslo and extensive experience within R&D. She has held various leadership positions in preclinical development and project management in GE Healthcare. Mrs Heglund comes from a position as Global Project Director in GE Healthcare.
Inger Ferner Heglund holds 8,200 shares in Photocure. She holds 65,300 share options in the company.

Gry Stensrud, Vice President Technical Development and Operations
Gry Stensrud, born 1970, joined Photocure in May 2006 as Pharmaceutical Director. She was appointed Director Operations from April 2009 and Vice President Technical Development & Operations from October 2010. She holds a degree in Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Oslo. Before joining Photocure, Gry Stensrud has held different positions within R&D and QA at GE Healthcare. She came from a position as Manager Formulation Technology in GE Healthcare.
Gry Stensrud holds no shares in Photocure. She holds 38,696 share options in the company.
