- The photodynamic technology combine a drug, known as a photosensitiser, with a light source that activates the photosensitiser

- Photocure s also developing photochemical internalisation (PCI) which is a technology for light-directed drug delivery
o PCI Biotech AS, a subsidiary of Photocure, was established on 2000 to ensure an optimal development of the PCI technology
