Photocure was founded by the Norwegian Radium Hospital Research Foundation (RF) to commercialise and develop technologies originally developed by scientists at the Norwegian Radium Hospital.
Photocure develops products based on proprietary compounds and technology by actively seeking IP protection of results drived from own research, academic and commercial collaborations. Photocure has established a global network of key opinion leaders in academic institutions to give the company access to world-class collaboration partners and enable research at an affordable cost. Collaborations with academic institutions and third party contract research organisations is a core part of Photocure's strategy for developing innovative new products building Photocure as a speciality pharma company.
